London: Ward, Lock & Co., 1923. Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Very Good Indeed. 7" by 4.5". None. An early copy of this fiction novel by Edgar Wallace, in its original dustwrapper. Dated 1923 to title page. Following the story of "Sanders of the River," one of the favourite heroes of modern fiction. It is a delightful read, written with humorous style, and it conveys England's official attitude towards the native tribes of Africa. Edgar Wallace was a very prolific English writer.With unclipped dustwrapper. In the publisher's original red cloth binding with titles stamped in black to front board and spine. Externally very smart with minot offsetting to front board. Spine is slightly faded. Dustwrapper is unclipped and very smart. Pricing 2/- net to spine. Minor shelfwear and slight sunning to spine. Internally, binding is slightly loose to boards but firm nonetheless. Minor tear to front free endpaper. Pages are slightly tone aged, as usual due to the type of paper used. Very Good Indeed
