In spite of the dark background this is a tale of renascence and goodness. It covers the globe from Shanghai round the world both ways. the struggle to protect, and later to transport, the saving remnant has been incessant for many years. the losses have been heart-breaking but the gain has been Israel. Anyone who visits that fate-haunted country will feel that the millions are not uselessly dead. Their ghosts give faith and courage to the few who were saved.
