London: G. Bell and Sons, 1909. Decorative Cloth. Collectible; Very Good. 1909 1st thus, a collection of 4 of W.S. Gilbert's Savoy operas (Pirates of Penzance, Patience, Prinecess Ida and The Yeomen of the Guard), lavishly illustrated by the great Russell Flint. VG in its original red cloth with bright, unflecked gilt design and lettering to front panel and spine. One narrow, light band of dampstaining running vertically from top edge to bottom. Still, a perfectly presentable copy. Quarto, 208 pgs. 31 color illustrations, deckled fore-edge and bottom edge. Gift inscription on front free endpaper and tasteful former owner bookplate to inside cover.
