Written by English novelist William Cooper, who wrote a number of 'Scenes from...' novels, including 'Scenes from Life', 'Scenes from Later Life' and 'Scenes from Death and Life'. An entertaining novel following the married life of Joe Lunn and Elspeth. A humorous, truthful, and touching novel by Cooper. Sequel to 'Scenes from Provincial Life'.
