New York: The Viking Press. Very Good- in Very Good- dust jacket. 1961. 1st US Trade Edition. Hardcover. Mauve cloth with trace wear and sharp spine ends/corners. Jacket in archival plastic protector has minor edgewear and a few closed tears <1"; flaps not clipped. Binding sound, text clean. Interior lightly toned; offsetting to two pages where a newspaper clipping was laid in. Number stamp to ffep corner. No ownership marks or stickers. Not ex-library. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 93 pages .
Synopsis
Graham Greene (1904-1991) worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the Foreign Office. His many books include The Power and the Glory , The Third Man , Our Man in Havana , The Comedians and Travels with My Aunt . He is the subject of an acclaimed three-volume biography by Norman Sherry.
