About This Item
William R. Scott, 1941. Hard. Very Good. Weisgard, Leonard. First Printing published by William R. Scott 1941 -- the original publisher according to Baumgarten -- Not Harper & Brothers. Harper & Row edition is a much later reprint and in no way a first edition. Matte pictorial boards. Pictorial end papers. Edges all lightly worn with scuffing of two corners exposing just a wee bit of the boards and fraying of spine tips. Still, tight, bright and unmarked throughout. Worn, ragged jacket ($1.00 flap price) is torn almost all the way along the length of the spine and has wrinkles, chips and tears. Colorful illustrations by Leonard Weisgard.
