About This Item
Grosset & Dunlap, 1946. Hardcover. Good. Doane, Pegalie. Smooth red cover (not tweed) showing some minor wear. NO DUST JACKET. Corners are slightly bumped and color is rubbing off on all edges and along the spine, bad nat the top and bottom although all text is still legible. Interior list the back of the book to #17 Rainbow Riddle, so probably a very early printing of this particular binding, as this volume was originally bound in green cloth. Plain paper illustrations, not glossy. Tree on front boards and spooky house EPs. A hard-to-find series.
