New York: Harry N. Abrams, , 1969. 325 fascinating b/w photographs giving a unique and intimate insight in to the Republican and Democratic conventions of 1968. In publisher's blue/green cloth with gilt, inside its dust jacket. Very good condition dust jacket, with lightly bumped corners (one has a very small closed tear shown in photographs). Book itself is in a fine condition. David Douglas Duncan was an American photojournalist renowned for his photographs of combat situations in the Vietnam War, during which he was an officer in the Marine Corps. His camera of choice was the Nikon F. This was Nikon's first SLR camera, and one of the most advanced cameras of its day. 240 pages. 360 x 285 mm (14¼ x 11¼ inches).
