Racine, WI: Whitman Publishing Company, 1935. Hardcover. 24mo. Glossy pictorial paper over boards. 156pp. Numerous full-page illustrations, text endpapers. Very good. Faintest of edgewear. A tight and nice first edition of #1161 in the "Big Little Book" series, a film spinoff based on Vance Joseph Hoyt's 1931 novel "Malibu: A Nature Story." Film scene (featuring star Jean Parker) and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Picture plug on front board and film scenes sprinkled throughout. A lovely copy.
