This undated antique 838 page hardcover book is the "New Edition" described in the front flyleaf with these words: "To The Congregation Worshipping In Trinity Chapel, Brighton, From August 15, 1847, To August 15, 1853, These Recollections Of Sermons Preached By Their Late Pastor Are Dedicated." Extensive Contents listing. This exquisite antique volume is bound in red cloth boards with gilt lettering on the front and spine. The spine is slightly faded and 1/4" of the top of the spine is missing (see picture). The front flyleaf contains a steel engraved portrait of Robertson and is INSCRIBED; "Sincerely and gratefully yours Fred W. Robertson". This is the only inscribed copy that is shown on any booksite! Sadly the front flyleaf has separated from the binding and is loose. There is a preface plus a "Preface To The Fourth Series." Binding loosening slightly but still intact. All pages of this fascinating collection of sermons are intact, not marred by any notes, underlining or highlighting. Small personal library stamp on front endsheet. No tape! No soiling! A treasure!
