Quarter brown cloth with olive-green paper-covered boards, 253, [2] pp. Spine cocked, extremities rubbed, edges of boards faded, repaired tear to paper covering bottom edge of rear board. Price-clipped DJ has crease on front flap and a bit of wear at corners and spine ends; in Brodart archival cover. Supposedly written by Dr. Watson and forgotten in a trunk since 1939, and now edited for publication by Meyer. Watson hauls Holmes off to Vienna to seek treatment from Sigmud Freud for Holmes's cocaine addiction. This novel was the basis for a very entertaining movie. Shipping weight 2 lbs.. First Edition. . Synopsis

The Seven-Per-Cent Solution is a 1974 novel by American writer Nicholas Meyer. It is written as a pastiche of a Sherlock Holmes adventure, and was adapted for the cinema in 1976. The novel's full title is The Seven-Per-Cent Solution: Being a Reprint from the Reminiscences of John H. Watson, M.D. Published as a "lost manuscript" of the late Dr. John H.
