About This Item
New York: Macmillan Publishing Co, Inc., 1976 Book. Illus. by Photos. Very Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. The author is obviously a woman of good breeding, with both sense and sensibility. Her writing moves swiftly, bounding from one subject to another yet not failing to complete comment on the chosen article before proceeding further. Her life seems to have been a series of whirlwinds, not advancing beyond careful control. One wonders what her plays were like. 559 pp. Heavy book will need extra postage..
