London: Gollancz, 1977. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First UK Edition. Publisher's black boards with gilt spine lettering. INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR. A VG+ copy in like D/W, just a few faint splashes on the very top and base of the text block not affecting the contents/margins of the pages. Inscribed by the Author on the title page: "For John & Mary/ Shelley/ With Very Best Wishes/ Roger Eldridge/ Ladies' Day, Ascot/ 21st June 1990". N.B: a young adult fantasy novel from the author best known for his post-holocaust science fiction novel The Fishers Of Darksea. Photographs/scans available upon request.
