New York: Mitchell Kennerley, 1909.. xviii,422pp. Gilt lettered olive cloth. Bookplate, early ownership inscription, spine ends somewhat worn, otherwise a good copy. First edition. Affixed to the front free endsheet is a carbon typescript letter, with insertion and signature in ink, NYC, 7 January 1915, from Harris promoting a series of lectures ("I really do know more about Shakespeare than anybody living and I think I can tell more") and suggesting the recipient let his secretary know how many tickets he wishes to order.
