New York and London: Oxford University Press, 1959., 1959.. Very good. - 8-7/8 inches high by 5-3/4 inches wide. Blue cloth titled in gilt on the spine. The covers are slightly soiled. 525 pages, illustrated with a frontispiece and textual illustrations. There are a couple of small stains to the book's fore edge. Very good.

The assistant editor and subsequently editor of the "Physical Review Letters" [PRL] from 1958 to 1988, George L. Trigg (1925-2014) played an important role in establishing the periodical's character, making it one of the world's preeminent physics journals.
