This is a charming copy of Short Sketches of the Wild Sports & Natural History of The Highlands, richly illustrated throughout the text. This is a delightful copy of the new edition of the Short Sketches of the Wild Sports & Natural History of The Highlands, with the author's notes and a memoir of the Rev. M.G. Watkins. This is the ninth edition of Highland Sports and has delighted and encouraged a love of out-door sport and natural history. The edition is richly illustrated throughout and has a frontispiece and the text and the volume considers Highland Lakes, Poaching in the highlands, wild ducks and wild geese of the Highlands. In the publisher's original decorative cloth. Externally, generally smart. There is a mark to the front board and some further marks to the rear board and some rubbing to the spine and joints.
