London: Saunders, Otley, 1861. First edition. 8vo (8 x 5 inches), 361-pages plus 8-pages of publisher's advertisements at end. Original plum grained cloth. Binding very faded and marked, headbands a little frayed, corners bumped. Joints slightly cracked but firm, some soiling within. A relatively poor copy of a rare novel.
