Not only is it one of the Scarce Titles in the Wonderful Landmark Book Series, it is inscribed and signed by the Author, Harnett T. Kane. Kane wrote 30 or so books about Louisiana and Southern History. Young Mark Twain and the Mississippi was the last book that Harnett Kane wrote as he was stricken with Alzheimer's disease in his middle fifties and was unable to write for the last seventeen years of his life. The book is inscribed and signed nicely on the title page. Great Collectible for your Landmark Collection! Collectible Book is in Very Good or better condition with the inside text in Excellent condition and appearing to be unread. No writing, other than the Author's writing. Book has come from a private collection. Outside pictorial covers are nice with some minor soiling, corner and edge wear. This title was not published with a Dust Jacket.
