First edition inscribed on title page "To; Max Michael Snyder with the best regards of Charles Edward Chapel", very good + cloth hardcover shows toning at spine ends, rubbing at edges and some soil at page edges, in good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows fading along spine, rubbing with bit of loss of some lettering to rear panel, soiling, staining and edgewear that includes closed tears, small open chips and larger open chip smainly at spine ends. 240 pages with black & white illustrations and index. Still a solid inscribed copy of this "..complete history of rifle shooting from its very beginning, deliberately designed to give the greatest value for its low price.
