A handsome, illustrated Folio Society edition of the classic Medieval Romance, which is believed to have been written in the fourteenth century. This ancient poem has been translated by Keith Harrison, with his introduction. Includes handsome lithograph illustrations by Virgil Burnett. --- In full green cloth-covered boards with large star on brown shield to front cover, spine titling in gilt to spine and brown topstain. Volume wrapped in brown paper-covered slipcase. --- With prior owner's bookplate affixed to front paste-down and slight spine sunning, otherwise a clean, tightly-bound, bright copy lacking damages. Structurally sound slipcase with mild fading, else undamaged.; Tall Octavo - 9 to 10 in. tall; 98 pages .
