Walter Sullivan (1924-2006) was an author, critic, longtime Vanderbilt University professor, authority on Southern literature and one of the founding members of The Fellowship of Southern Writers. His wife, Jane Harrison Sullivan (1923-2022), taught English literature at Aquinas College. Nims won the Aiken Taylor Award for Modern American Poetry in 1991; presume this copy inscribed at the annual celebration held in January. 8vo glossy, pictorial paperwraps; 58 pages. Fine.
