Longmans, Green and Co, 1938. Book. Acceptable. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This is a solid and square first edition with two or three crayon marks on back blue cloth boards. Overall very light wear - binding remains tight, text block is intact, pages are clean and text is unmarked. Light foxing and previous owner's label on front endpaper. Dust jacket sections torn apart but present preserved in mylar. Receipt for original purchase ($2.50) in 1938 is laid in. Will be carefully packaged and shipped with tracking and insurance..
