Hardcover. 12mo, 19cm, first edition, 235p., errata slip, original elaborate blind decorated brown cloth, some slight wear on the top and bottom spine edges else very good to fine sound copy (cn). ~ TPL 5632. Watters p.29. "These 'Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual Songs' were written amidst the various scenes of Missionary life, and intended to promote the work of piety in which the Missionary is engaged." (author's preface). Clergyman William Bullock (1797 1874) was an Anglican missionary for over 30 years in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia and was the first dean of diocese of Nova Scotia. Dedicated to The Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts.
