About This Item

Cambridge: Houghton Mifflin, 1918. Hardcover. xx, 169p., a small elegant production in 6.5x4 inch goldenrod boards (paperings vary in first run, no priority) with a textured black cloth spine and simple title-label. Externally unblemished and bright, quite sound, but within, however neatly done, are numerous extra texts tipped in, all of some interest and none obscuring the Houghton design. Find a few pencil-tics next table of contents entries, else unmarked by human hand, despite a rubber-stamped ownership on p.ix and a generic bookplate to front pastedown. All in all, a very good gift item.
