Tight and pristine facsimile reprint of Volume 46 (only) of this text published between 1876 and 1910 (Volumes 1-38) and again starting 1910 -- "Proceedings of First Confederate Congress, Second Session in Part, January, 1928." This volume includes the memoir of Colonel William H. Palmer. Notes James I. Robertson Jr., "These fifty-two volumes, containing everything from congressional minutes to personal reminiscences, are indispensable for any study in depth of the Confederacy" -- and to this E.B. Long adds, "Other than the Official Records, this 52-volume set is the most important printed source for the Confederacy." NEVINS I, 161 and II, 27.
