New York: Funk & Wagnalls, 1978. First Edition. First printing Near fine in tan linen covered boards with dark blue text stamping on the spine. A quarto measuring 11 by 9 1/2 inches with faint spotting to the upper and lower edges of the boards. In a very good+ unclipped dust jacket with only hints of wear to the ends of the spine area and with a 1 1/4 inch closed tear to the upper edge of the front panel. The last book on weather published by Eric Sloane. 79 numbered pages of text containing numerous sketches and drawings followed by eleven full color plates of some of his weather related paintings.
