Introduction by Diethart Kerbs. Text in German. Photo illustrated stiff coated paper wraps, French flaps. Reisner introduced Namuth to photography and the pair were sent to cover the 1936 Workers' Olympiad in Barcelona. For nine months they photographed the Civil War for European publications. Includes an excerpt from Namuth's diary. A bright, fresh copy.
