NY: Random House; (1952). First Edition . Hardcover. Stated first edition, very good+ in a very good- dust jacket. Corners are slightly bumped; page edges are a little darkened. The jacket has chips at corners and spine ends, with some loss to Clark's name at the top of the jacket spine. The jacket also has a long tear along the front edge where the spine meets the cover. The jacket is encased in a protector and looks reasonably nice. $3.95 price present on jacket flap, includes map endpapers, illustrations, appendices, and an index; 306 pages. Signed by both authors on a blank tipped in page behind the front endpaper. "The true story of the oil discovery that changed the world.
