Leather spine 5 raised bands around decorative compartments, marbled boards. Former owner's signature dated 1780 on FFEP. Given the nature and history of the work, it is not surprising that no printer is given, other than the statement of "printed in 1770" . Outer boards are quite rubbed and edgeworn, leather on backstrip a little crackled, but actually quite good, style of print appropriate for the period. Inner pages only slightly age toned. .
