About This Item
New York, New York: Scholastic, Inc.. Soft cover. Fine. Sewall, Marcia. Signed, inscribed and dated on the title page as follows: "5/1/02/To: Pam/John R. Gardiner/". The idea for this story came from a Rocky Mountain legend that was told to the author in 1974 by Bob Hudson in Hudson's Cafe in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The characters in the story are fictitious but the ending of the story belongs to the legend and is reported to have actually happened. Without doubt this work is a superb piece of storytelling.
