Chicago: Albert Whitman & Co., 1924 Blue cloth covers with paste-on color illustration and gilt imprinting on the front and spine. The corners and spine top/bottom are bumped and rubbed and the spine edges are worn through, else good. The front and back paste-downs and flyleafs are illustrated. The front pastedown has the former owner's name and address in pencil and the back pastedown has some small numbers in pencil. The front and back pastedowns, the half-title page and the corresponding back page are age-yellowed, else good. 218 pages which are clean, crisp, and uncreased, with a very few lightly written notes and a stain on page 56. The binding is good and tight. A good collector's edition, especially for its age, from a non-smoking household. We ship daily. Pictures available upon request.. Assumed First. Cloth. Good/No Jacket.
