Possible second printing, with no text beneath 'Manufactured in the United States of America' at copyright page, where the first's 'first edition' statement, the 'Published October 31, 1980' statement that begins with the third printing, and the BOMC statement appeared in relevant copies. Likely married to a BOMC jacket, with identical cover art as the trade jacket but no price printed at the front inner flap. Black cloth with bronze titling, very good with light edgewear. Spine square. Binding sound. Dust jacket scuffed to spine and moderately edgeworn, with minor chipping to spine ends and fore-edge corners. Pages bright, text unmarked.
Synopsis
Ray Bradbury has published more than five hundred works, including The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, Fahrenheit 451, and Something Wicked This Way Comes. He was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 2004, and the National Book Foundation’s Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters in 2000. He lives in Los Angeles.
