Greystones County Wicklow: Published by the author, (2004). First edition. 8vo, 355 pages, illustrated. Publisher's gilt-lettered blue cloth-patterned paper over boards in pictorial dust jacket.
Corners & spine extremities bumped, otherwise very good in near fine dust jacket with a trace of edgewear.
Although the title page indicates that this is volume one, no subsequent volumes have ben published to date.
"Recalls life in an old Irish fishing village, against a backdrop of world wars and revolution. The tales, laced with humour and pathos, are told by twenty-five elders, among them a parlourmaid, milkman, plumber and judge, blacksmith, soldier, sailor and airman, doctor merchant and boat-builder.
