New Home Library, New York., 1944. First Edition, First Reprint.. Hardcover.. G+/G. 8 1/4 x 5 1/2 x 1 1/4.. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book GOOD PLUS/ Dust jacket Good. Sewn binding. Boards and spine are burgundy cloth, with black and grey lettering, and design on front as well. Dust jacket is price clipped, has beige and red front cover and spine with white lettering, black/white advertisement on back cover. Dust jacket is fairly bright, has vertical creases at folds on flaps, spine is sunned, tiny bits of colour are chipped, a fair amount of chipping along top and bottom edges of dust jacket, at top of spine several rips (largest 2 inches) and some have paper missing. Covers and spine are clean, very slightly bent corner tips, small creases at top and bottom of spine, some shelf wear. Page edges are tinted, as issued, still dark. Inside back cover between the 2nd end page and Page 564, the paper has torn and the back cover has fallen back, exposing the cloth binding, but no pages are loose or missing. The rest of the book is clean, tight, bright, white. No illustrations. No photos. Fine paper, almost like a bible.

IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
