Sample pages, random page runs up to page 406, plus 6 pages of promotional materials in rear and blank subscription page. With lots of full page b&w photographs. Rear pastedown has binding sample of the backstrip in green, faux leather sample with gilt title. Book moderately soiled, some loss to stamped colors. Tipped in at front pastedown are testimonials acknowledging author Halstead as legitimate historian of the Philippine Expedition.
