The first edition of this collection of poetry beautifully illustrated by Hugh Thompson with lovely gilt decorative binding. First edition of The Story of Rosina and Other Verses by Austin Dobson in the original publisher's gilt decorated red cloth binding. Beautifully illustrated throughout the text with vignette illustrations by Hugh Thompson. A lovely first edition work by the nineteenth century English poet. Prior owner's ink inscription to the first free endpaper from 1914. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and minor bumping to the extremities. There is a small mark to the rear board.
