Collated, complete.Volume II illustrated with a frontispiece, eight plates, and many in-text engravings. Collated, complete.Volume III illustrated with a frontispiece, seventeen plates, and many in-text engravings. Collated, complete.Bookplate to the front pastedowns, 'Charles Frederick Pretor-Pinney'. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Some minor marks to the boards and spines. Hinges are starting but firm. Bookplate to the front pastedowns. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the odd spot.
