Garden City, New York: Doubleday Doran, 1932. First American edition. 8vo, viii, [2], [1] - 166 pp., frontis in color & 12 b & w plates. Publisher's green cloth lettered & decorated in black, in pictorial dust jacket.
Slight wear at spine extremities & corners, brief rubbing, small booksellers' rubber-stamped mark at front pastedown, occasional finger smudges, otherwise Very Good in lightly soiled dust jacket with edge wear (including short tears & small losses at spine ends & fold extremities), with pink lettering at spine quite faded, certainly Good or better.
A charming story of the good Captain & wonderful dog Bodger who, among other adventures, capture a family of lions using fly paper & eau-de-cologne
