Significant fraying and soiling to cloth, heaviest along spine, text block lightly rolled, PO's inscription in blank ink to ffep "To Margaux from Junior. Christmas 1914". Discoloration scattered throughout margins, not interfering with text. The first full-length children's fantasy novel by L. Frank Baum after the publication of 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz'.
