Red cloth, gilt titles. Top edge gilt. Numerous black and white illustrations. One volume (Early London) has a slightly darker cover; one volume (Stuarts) slightly mottled covers; overall a nice set. Front cover of London South of the Thames has unevenly faded (where a bookend has been sat previously).
