1981 stated 1st edition warmly inscribed by the author in 1984 on the half title page. Slight tilt to spine, a little edgewear, soil/tanning on white back dj, foxing on cover and dj (the latter only noticeable on the inside), gift inscription on ffep, bottom front corner frayed, tiny dents on a few pages, else text clean, binding tight .
