(Vol. 1): x, 480; pp. (Vol. 2): vi, 494, indexes. Original printed light green front wrapper only, thick 8vo. Smithsonian Miscellaneous Collections, volume 31. This is the Smithsonian reissue of volume I, part 2 (1884) and volume II, part 1 (1878) of the original edition of this descriptive flora covering the Gametopetalae. Smithsonian title page has ink bookcase number neatly printed at the upper corner. The text pages are uncut and unopened.
