Cuchulain's epic cattle raid, translated from the Irish by a great modern poet, and accompanied by wonderful brush drawings by Louis le Brocquy. First published by Dolmen in 1969, then by Oxford in 1970. This is a Near Fine copy of the reprinted version from 1972 [It has been reprinted many times]. Softbound trade paperback. Clean text; 283 pages, with Notes. Very light wear to the margins, else a Fine copy. A fine translation, and wonderful drawings; this is a decent place-holder for the hardbound versions, which are quite pricey.. Reprint Edition. Soft Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket. Illus. by Louis Le Brocquy. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
