London; Hodder & Stoughton, 1928., 1928. Hard Cover. FIRST EDITION. Quarto, pp ix, [3], 277. 100 illustrations from photographs taken by the Author, including frontispiece self-portrait. Original navy blue buckram with gilt titles to spine. Minor wear to spine tips and corners, which are a little bruised; very minor wrinkles to upper board. Endpapers toned; ownership inscription to ffep and Times Book Club ticket to rear pastedown. Contents clean and tight - a Very Good copy. Best known for his adventure stories set in the American West, Grey was a dedicated fisherman and the author of 8 titles on the subject. This work includes North American trips to the Delaware River, Deer Creek in Washington state and Pelican Bay.
