New York: Harper & Bros, 1836. This is a Very Good (Plus) copy from Harper's Stereotype Edition, which presented Edgeworth's works as "Eighteen Volumes Bound in Nine." Volume 3 only, which contains "Volumes V and VI." The stories included are " Murad the Unlucky," "The Manufacturers," "The Contest," "The Grateful Negro," "To-Morrow," "Ennui," and "The Dun." Green cloth binding with bright gilt lettering on the spine; design of an Irish Harp. Clean text; somewhat stiff but with minimal foxing; very readable; the stories are individually paginated. Reproduction of the original frontis illustration from the First American Edition. Lightly bumped, has a slight lean. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. First Thus. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
