Published as No 45 in Morley's Universal Library, Tales of Terror and Wonder is a compendium of late-eighteenth / early-nineteenth-century Gothic ballads, and comprising the contents of two collections: the anonymous Tales of Terror (1801) and Matthew Lewis's collection, Tales of Wonder (1800). Condition: This copy is in very good condition for age, with a little tanning to the pages and light bumping to the corners.
