New York: Thomas Y. Crowell & Co, 1895. First edition thus. Hardcover book bound in the publisher's original full ornately gilt-stamped cloth. 16 cm. 240 pages. Beautiful gilt-stamped floral end pages. Contains black-and-white illustrations throughout. In good condition. Previous owner's name/date written on a front blank page. The front free end page has been removed. Hinges cracked but holding firmly to the book block. Moderate edge wear/tear, rubbing, soiling to the covers.
