VG. 34 pp. Issued in conjunction with several 2006-2007 exhibitions of "a broad survey of the history of drawing education in the United States, from 1794, with the publication of the first American edition of a drawing instruction book, to 1925, by which time art instruction had differentiated into a variety of subfields and specialties that are familiar to us to this day." (foreword) With an introduction by Albert A. Anderson Jr. The exhibition drew heavily from the collection of Anderson and Evelynn M. Ellis. 1 of 2000 copies.
