Dark red coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper, by Barry Sutton, with brown and white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The author's second novel, and this time it is a quiet village life and the narrator's (disabled) own family, and, how everyone is hiding something,and that their public persona may not necessarily be the true person. Rubbing of the back strip edges and book corners with very light age toning of the text block edges and pages. Scattered foxing to the text block edges. A little chipping of the dustwrapper corners, back strip corners and the top and bottom edges of the front panel. Insect nibbles can be seen to all edges of the dustwrapper. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels with handling marks to the rear panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [4], 5 - 285, [1] pages.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
