Stated first edition. Author's rather charming .inscription and full signature is on the first fly-leaf page. The inscription is to Dr, Gilbert Grosvenor who was the first editor of the National Geographic magazine.

The book has a bump at the lower front cover edge and some wrinkling at the bottom and top of spine. Otherwise it is in excellent condition: no cuts, marks or blemishes. /the unclipped dj ($2.75) has shelf wear and a few nicks and a tears. It is encased in a Plasti-Kleer type protective cover. Book will be priority mailed to any U. S. address.
